In the interest of food security, and the development of local community, this website is here for the express purpose of exchanging seeds, plants, soil, compost, ideas and the like. The use of money in any form is forbidden.  With increasing opposition from individuals and companies that would prefer to own the rights to our food sources, the website stands as a protest to:

• The ownership of life.
• The prohibition of free seed exchange among farmers, gardeners, and seed savers.
• The international food distribution system that serves to displace families, farmers, animals, and to wipe out indigenous crops, peoples and food customs.
